Personal Statement
I have played baseball since I was six years old. It is the only sport I have a passion for. I have played on a summer travel team, in addition to an in-house team, through the Christian Center League, for the last 4 years. I also played for my middle school team in my 6-8 grade years. I have worked with individual trainers on my fielding, hitting, and pitching. I currently work on my pitching with Brian Shouse, a former major league pitcher, who now coaches in the Texas Rangers organization. I desire to do my best. I sometimes struggle with academics, but I make the effort to meet with my teachers for extra help. I don't know how far I'll go with baseball, but I want to play hard and enjoy this great sport.
