Christian Schoeffel '22 Recruiting Profile

I was recruited and signed by Olivet Nazarene University out of high school and then suffered an injury that sidelined me for the year. After a rough year there dealing with my injury and not playing, I joined the Spoon River College program last year and spent the year getting back in shape, putting on weight, and preparing for a full year of baseball this year. I'm looking forward to a full-strength season this year and working toward continuing my baseball career after this Spring at a four-year school.

My faith and all of the adversity I have faced the last two years is motivating to me and has made me stronger as an individual and as an athlete. I love the game of baseball, the process, and working hard to attain goals and move forward from one level to the next. My hope is to continue my baseball career while completing a degree in civil engineering. If your program is looking for a motivated outfielder with a glove, speed, and the ability to get on base, I might be a good fit for you. I hope to hear from you soon!
