Sports have been a part of my life since I was a small boy. I always knew that I wanted to be a top collegiate athlete and college graduate with my masters degree. Although I am a three sport athlete, my passion lies with baseball. Being an athlete has molded me into the well-rounded young man I have become today. It has taught me that being an athlete is more than just having athletic ability. It has given me the drive and dedication to always do better than my best not only in athletics but in everyday life. It has taught me to be a leader and to never give up no matter how tough things get. It has pushed me as a student to give everything I have to achieve academic excellence. And it has taught me that respect and loyalty are a must on the field and off.
As a 5'7 Sophomore, I have had to prove over the years that my size does not define my athletic ability. I have worked hard in the face of adversity and proven that hard work and dedication does pay off. I earned my spot as quarterback on the Varsity football team my Sophomore year, and played starting shooting guard for the Junior Varsity basketball team my Sophomore year as well. As a freshman, I played short stop for the Junior Varsity baseball team and will be playing short stop for the Varsity team as a Sophomore.
In the future, I aspire to go to college as a collegiate baseball player and get my masters degree in communications. I live and breathe the game of baseball and I plan to achieve my dreams!
