Caiden Toney '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Caiden Toney. I'm currently 5'11” and 180 lbs; I am a right handed arm and bat. I'm a Junior at Danville Community High School and the starting RF for our Varsity team. I graduate in 2022. 

I started playing baseball at 4 years old at my local Little League. At the age of 8, I started playing travel baseball and I have ever since. I currently play for the Akademia Expos. As long as I can remember my goal has been to play at the collegiate level. 

Over the offseason I work closely with my summer ball coach to build on my strengths and continue to round out my game both defensively and at the plate. I also work with a personal trainer to make sure my body is in the right shape to be on the field and stay on the field along with maximizing my athletic ability.

What a coach can expect from me is a coachable player that works hard both on and off the field as well as in the classroom. I will represent myself and my school in a positive manner. I take pride in being a good teammate and helping the team in whatever way is asked of me. I look forward to the challenge ahead if given the opportunity.
