Gabe Kahl '23 Recruiting Profile

I will be a 2023 Graduate of Elkhart Christian Academy.  I have been a 2-3 sport athlete all of my life, but baseball has always been the sport that captured me.  It is the sport which drives me.  I enjoy the grind and working to improve each and everyday.  I have learned through baseball there will be good and bad days on the field, in the classroom and in life.  You must be strong and learn to deal and work through those tough days positively.  My family and my faith help me when days are tough and are what have shaped my character and the person I am.  

A strong work ethic is a trait which has served me well allowing me to perform at the level in sports and in the classroom which I expect and demand of myself.  I am never satisfied which can be difficult and frustrating at times, but it always keeps me driving for improvement in all aspects of my life. 

While I am driven to excel on the field, getting my degree is still priority one.  I want to obtain a degree in Forensic Science and add to it a Masters degree.  I will be an excellent addition to any team.  I am excited to prove myself at the next level.  I lead by example and will be that player who continues to improve each day, week, month and year.
