Peyton Bradford '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6’0” 210 pound Senior at Mater Dei High School in Evansville, Indiana where I have played J.V. and varsity baseball for three years. Going into my Senior year season this spring (2020) I expect to continue as a varsity 1^st and 3^rd baseman and pitcher. Since my freshman year I have led the school in home runs including one grand slam. I have great agility, focus and hand speed which help me be a successful infielder.  My passion for the game and work ethic is obvious to anyone who watches me play. I believe in being a great teammate/leader on or off the field and I believe in giving back as much as I have been given. I have been very fortunate to receive advice and training from major league players along with all levels of college players. You will not find an individual more committed to maximizing his innate abilities to become a better student athlete.

I have had the honor of volunteering with the Challenger Baseball Program to help special needs children have the opportunity to play and be part of a team just as I have enjoyed.

I also play varsity football. I am mainly an offensive lineman but also play center, defensive end, and kickoff return.

I try to challenge myself both on and off the athletic fields. Academically, I am taking all honor classes and have a 3.5 GPA. This includes college level courses & CAP Classes through the University of Southern Indiana. I also am involved in Young Life Teen Group. This group focuses on youth-led leadership development and community service projects in a drug/alcohol free environment. I realize academics will be my foundation for success after I stop playing baseball. To that end, I am looking for a college with an exceptional athletic and academic reputation regardless of the school size. Words cannot accurately reflect the commitment and desire that I will bring to your baseball program.
