Johnny Bloom '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a multi- sport athlete in baseball and football.  My main position in baseball is catcher, but I also excel at outfield.  I became interested in baseball very young, and it has been a major part of my life since.  Through playing baseball, I have learned that I have a strong passion for winning, and I am very competitive.  I am coachable and embrace  all challenges.   I consider the catching position to be one of leadership on the team and accept that responsibility completely.   My goals as a student athlete are to successfully balance my studies and to grow as a player both mentally and physically.    For the field I am looking to get into, history has always been an interest of mine, but I have also thought about sports medicine and   particularly,   something in the physical therapy field.
