Connor Gordon '20 Recruiting Profile

I love baseball. I love the sounds of metal spikes on concrete and I love the crack of the bat. I love running hard and diving plays. Baseball is very important to me, as is taking it as far as I can. Going to college, getting an education, and playing baseball while doing this is a huge step in that direction. I feel like this is a very achievable goal, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to achieve that goal. I feel like I stand out from other kids for many reasons, aside from just pure skill in the game of baseball. One aspect that I believe I excel in is leadership. I constantly make an effort to lead my teammates and be a good example. I also push my teammates to get better along with being a good example of that myself. I also am very good at time management. I do not play any other sports competitively (basketball in the winter for fun), leaving me devoting all of my time to school and baseball. This has taught me to prioritize. I also believe in doing things the right way. Whenever I practice and whenever I play I make an effort to be a good example of doing it right the first time. These are the aspects of character that I believe I most excel in and why I believe I'm a good candidate for recruiting.
