August 2018 Personal Statement
My name is Brock Begesha and I’m a 2020 6’0 185 Right Handed Pitcher. I’ve loved the game of baseball since my dad showed me it when I was 1 year old. Since then I don’t think a day in my life has gone by when I wasn’t playing, watching, studying, or thinking about the game. Whether I’m in the classroom, weight room, or on the field I’m always thinking about what I can do in that moment to get to the next level. One thing I can give to your team that is unique to me is the sheer will to put my team in a position to win. As a pitcher I know that it is extremely important for me to show up every time I take the mound to give my team a chance to win. I try to approach the classroom with the same intensity that I do for baseball. I have a 3.91 GPA and always make my studies a priority. I am looking for a school that can put me in a great position for a career post-college and would love to have baseball help get me there.
