August 2012Personal Statement
I am a 6'0" 175lb. shortstop from Hanover, Indiana. I have started on the Southwestern High School varsity team for 3yrs. and made ORVC all conference team this year. My batting average was .446 this year ranking me in the top 30 in the state in all divisions. I expanded my abilities as a middle infielder by playing 2nd base for Post #9 American Legion team this summer maintaining an above .400 batting average.
I realize I have started this recruiting process late, but I still want to pursue playing baseball at the college level. I'm open to exploring opportunities at all divisions. Financial assistance will be an important aspect in my selection process. Ideally I would like to contribute my abilities to a team early in my career. I am easy going with a coachable attitude.
