I started this game in the summer of 2020 and instantly it became my passion. I loved what this game has brought out in me, which is competitive spirit and my drive to be the best. 2020 was trying year for me as our school went to solely remote learning and I struggled to keep my focus in school, which led me to making the High School team but not being eligible because of my grades. That pushed me to make sure I excelled in school first. I stayed on the team and worked at every practice to make sure I showed that I was committed to becoming the best person on and off the field.
I started playing this game not knowing more than what I had seen on TV. My Uncles were my first coaches and they pushed me very hard to learn this game in a quick manner. They put me at shortstop to get my intellect of the game up to speed with players that had been playing since they were like 6. This pushed me to put in the work so I could get to the level they were at and eventually outperforming those same players. I possess some qualities and talents that I believe can not be taught. I possess speed, agility, willingness to be a leader, and a competitive drive which is what excels me in this sport.
I know that baseball isn't everything that's why I want to excel in the classroom so I can go to college to better my horizon. So even though I love baseball, I love to win in life also.
