Personal Statement
Baseball has been a major passion of mine since I began playing at the age of 5. While not growing up in America I have dedicated myself to the game and to becoming as promising of a player as I can be, while also maintaining an equal passion in my studies. My goal as a student-athlete is to compete and succeed at the highest level both on the baseball field and in the classroom.
Over the years I have been able to balance a busy and demanding training schedule, while allowing myself ample time for studies. I understand the importance of a higher level of education and how that will affect my future. I believe that I am built for the life of a collegiate athlete. I am hard working, passionate and have the desire to see not only myself, but also my team succeed to the best of our abilities.
What separates me from other athletes is my ability to step up in high-pressure situations and this has been tested year in and year out. I believe this is a valuable asset to any team. I'm a committed team player who will give 100% both on and off the field. I’m highly competitive and ready to come in and compete to win.
