Personal Statement
I want to play baseball at the college level, I’m also a military child. I feel that this sets me apart from other players because I’ve been able to have different experiences in different countries. Two of the main places I’ve played in are Virginia, which I played competitive travel ball for 5 years, and most recently Japan which I am able to see the different play styles of each. I also feel that I’ve gone through more adversity being a military child having to move every few years. I’ve never been able to settle anywhere so I’ve had to join new teams every few years. Another aspect that sets me apart is that I’ve been a utility player for a while and I have a lot of experience playing every position, so I feel confident wherever a teams needs me or decides to put me.
