Personal Statement
Hello my name is Noah McFadzean. I am from Belize and America, and I grew up in Dubai, UAE. I graduated from ICademy Middle East, and I am currently attending Texarkana College and playing baseball for Twin City Post grad. I am a Pitcher/ Utility player in the class of 2023
I am 18 years old and in the class of 2023. I lived in Dubai and have been playing every sport imaginable since I could walk but baseball has always been a bigger part of my life. I have been able to compete around the world, for the Dubai travel team, in places such as Kuwait, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines and across the West Coast of America.
I am a Utility Player, primarily a Pitcher, I am able to play all over the infield and outfield as well as a catcher. I am willing to outwork anyone and play anywhere to help the team. I am the type of player that makes a difference in the game, whether it's with my bat, my glove, on the bases and even cheering on my teammates in the dugout.
I grew up in a British Curriculum and switched to an American curriculum my Senior Year. I am interested in majoring in Business and Economics and I would study Sports marketing and Management as my minor.
Growing up in Dubai I have been blessed with opportunities to play all around the world, and I have had the opportunity to be coached by and trained by prestigious players and coaches; such as, the current third base coach for the San Francisco Giants - Mark Hallberg; Former Red Sox Scout - Steve Fish; 2x Draft pick, Kansas State University Pitcher - Daniel Edwards. As well as, I have had the opportunity to be in clinics hosted by the Los Angeles Dodgers, in Dubai, with Dave Roberts, Chase Utley, Adrian Gonzales, Orel Hershiser, Justin Turner, Bob Geren and Austin Barnes.
I love to compete. I will always give 102% to win and to be the best in whatever I am doing. Whether that's in the gym, on the baseball field or even playing cards with family. Since I was 13 I have been playing up with 18 year old's in baseball. I embrace being challenged because it brings out the best in me.
I would deeply appreciate the opportunity to play Collegiate baseball in the United States.
