Personal Statement
My name is Reuben Schenk. My goals are to play baseball at the college level while keeping a strong relationship with God and excelling in my academics. I want to improve my skills in baseball and my knowledge of the game to continue pursuing it past college. I am a hard worker and determined player who doesn't take shortcuts into getting better I find that having a focused mind is the key to achieving my goals, so I put all of my focus into whatever I'm doing in the moment. As a Canadian student I am excited to learn at the US level and to play with better players and coaches. I am an outfielder primarily, however I enjoy stepping on the mound for the last inning or two to close out the game.
