Personal Statement
I've been playing baseball in Britain since I was 5 and across Europe since I was 9. Last summer as a 16 year old, I was starting CF/RF for the Great Britain U18 national team. At the WBSC U-18 European Qualifier, I finished on Top 5 individual leaderboards in multiple hitting categories (out of 10 national team rosters), helping GB win and advance to the Championship.
My strengths are my athleticism and speed, plate discipline and contact skills at bat while in the field, I make plays with range and good reads. I pride myself on being part of a team and working to get stronger and better. Last year I was named a team leader for the winter development program. I am a US/UK national, in the British school system in a top 50 school.
This year, I'm playing club baseball in the BBF NBL, the highest level of adult, wood bat baseball in the UK. I am also working on my individual development, in the gym and in the cage, using a Blast motion and Pocket Radar to work on measurable improvements.
I am interested in growing as an athlete and student in the US playing academic baseball. I'm eager to get somewhere where I can access facilities and play every day. I believe I can become both a top outfielder and top student at the right school.
