Personal Statement
My love for baseball started at the age of 4 when my dad would take me to his legion practices so I could not only the fundamental side of baseball but the fun and drive that comes with it. I started playing competitively at the age of five. This is when it clicked in my head to have a competitive drive and a competitive want in sports. since that point my love for baseball has grown even more. during the covid-19 lockdown me and my dad would go to the school gym and spend 2-3 hours there a day till summer hit. Two summers ago I slashed a .494/.550/.701/1.251 with 42 RBI and 13 extra-base hits, as an 8th grader on junior varsity I had 2 doubles and 2 singles in 2 games. The past summer I became the youngest player in my program to make varsity. Then one month later I was the first on my team to hit a homerun. I also had the most innings and strikeouts. during the playoffs that season my team made it to the championship game but lost by 1. I have been named 2023 state MVP of the Montana Legion AA tournament of which my team won. I have been All state outfielder the past 2 seasons. When I am not playing baseball I help out at the YWCA of Helena.
