Personal Statement
Hi,
My name is Oscar Hargreaves and I am a 2019 graduate at Whitefriars College in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. I am a very motivated and determined baseball player. From beginning T-ball at age 3 to winning the National Championships representing my state of Victoria in 2017 (U16) and in 2019 (U18) as well as representing my region in multiple Junior and Senior League Charter Championships has helped me develop my skills in baseball. Throughout my 15 years of playing baseball I have learnt how to handle many situations which I feel has helped me develop an excellent sense for the game and the plays that are unfolding. Throughout my career so far I have had the chance to play multiple seasons in different positions which helps me feel versatile and comfortable in any position that I play on the field. I feel that being dedicated to off field tasks is just as important as on the field which is why I feel that I would suit a college lifestyle with balancing the study/play ratio as well as gym routines and anything else experienced on the college journey.
