Personal Statement
I am Oscar Houstein and I am a current Year 10 student at Grace Lutheran College in Queensland, Australia. I have been able to follow my dreams throughout schooling and I hope to be able to continue that experience through into college.
My goals as a student is to experience the outstanding level of education that happens in America. I have great communicative and teamworking skills, which makes me a good introduction into any team. I also make friends quite easily so I will be able to gel with my team.
I am a well rounded student as I achieve above average grades in academic work, compete in baseball well, which can be seen in my selection into the Australian 14U Wood Bat team that played in Alabama in the summer of 2024. I also play multiple musical instruments that allow my teamwork to grow exponentially.
