Personal Statement
Hello Coaches, My name is Fabian alvarenga and i’m a 2025 Shortstop in Honduras, I personally think as a player, I can bring a great change on the field and off the field, i’ve seen through my 13 years playing the game , I can lift up the attitude of a whole entire team and make the difference as well, but that does not mean anything, i know we are talking about the field, I consider myself as a solid shortstop, i have the footwork, I have the arm, and I have the intelligence to play that position.
As a player I think I’m a great candidate for coaches, not just for what I bring to the field but, what I bring to the team, it’s a great balance.
Many teams suffer of frustration, depression, I can change that, since I was little I understood someone mad, could not take the best decisions, so basically, In general, I think i’m more of a good candidate for any team.
What makes me different from any candidate is the balance I bring, as I mentioned before , I’m a happy person, I’m always smiling , and also i’m from Honduras a small country and nothing would make me more happy than representing my country on a College team.
On my academics, I mean it’s not something new, 3.0 GPA is average, it’s not the best but we can work with that, of course i want more and i’m missing year and a half yo upgrade that but yes, my academics don’t make me different from anyone it’s just average.
Well as a conclusion I would like for coaches to consider me as an option and give the chance to play for their team because playing college baseball has always been a dream for me.
