Personal Statement
Collegiate Goals and Aspirations
My ultimate goal as a student-athlete is to excel both on the field and in the classroom, representing my college with pride. I aspire to compete at the highest level of collegiate baseball, contribute to my team's success, and earn a degree that will prepare me for a meaningful career beyond sports. Additionally, I am deeply committed to pursuing my dream of playing in MLB, and I see college baseball as a critical step in achieving that goal by continuously developing myself.
Why I’m a Good Candidate
What makes me a strong candidate is my versatility and ability to excel in multiple positions, including pitcher, shortstop, and center fielder. I bring a powerful arm, strong hitting with home run potential, and exceptional speed, which enhance my contributions both offensively and defensively. I am always prepared to adapt to my team’s needs and approach every role with dedication and focus.
What Makes Me Different
In Korea, elite athletes often face challenges balancing academics and training, which can impact academic performance. Despite this, I have worked hard to overcome these limitations by studying English separately, and will prepare to communicate effectively on an international level. Moreover, I pride myself on being a positive and cooperative presence both on and off the field, emphasizing teamwork and contributing to a strong team dynamic. These qualities make me unique among recruits.
