Personal Statement
Hi there! My name is Max Milner, RHP from Sydney, Australia. I am a 2022 graduate and currently working extremely hard as I would like to attain a degree and further my baseball career at the collegiate level.
Currently, I am in the 25-man Australian 18U Squad aiming to compete in the 18U World Cup in Florida later this year. I have further been classified as a top pitching prospect in my State (New South Wales) and my country.
When training and studying, I am extremely committed, I have great time management skills, and a winning and a development focussed mentality in order to achieve my personal best and what's best for my team. At the conclusion of year 11 at school, I was awarded with high distinction awards for academic excellence in Ancient history and Industrial Technology as well as a Principal's Award for effort and behaviour. This award was given to four people in a year cohort of 330 and I was the only male to receive it.
In my extracurricular life, I am a part of my school's student leadership team, selected to undertake the role of Sports Captain across all sports. I am also a passionate surfer, golfer and assist in ground maintenance and umpiring at my local baseball club.
I have a deep appreciation for the game and its numerous lessons which have shaped me to become a hard worker and the player that I am today.
