2022 Highlights Personal Statement
Sports has been a massive part of my life growing up, so as I move into adulthood, sports is something that I want to keep close. After playing softball for 6 years, I decided to take up Baseball and just really had a great time playing the sport. I've always been one of the fastest athletes on the field in whatever sport I played, and I love learning a game and thinking two steps ahead of the opponent. I'm a friendly guy that loves being a part of the team and contributing in whatever way I can. I really believe defense is just as important as offence, which I think is reflected in the way I play, making big plays with both the bat and glove. Whilst I am eager to pursue an athletic career in the USA, my top priority will still be my studies, as my education will be essential regardless of where baseball may take me in the future.
