Hello, my name is Connor Soesbe. I am currently entering my sophomore year and attend Northeast High School in Goose Lake, Iowa. I am currently 15 and 6'3, 195 pounds. I have been playing baseball since I was four years old and loving every second of it. I played years of Rec ball before earning a spot on a travel team. I played for Rock Valley Rumble for one season and then spent several years playing for Clinton Chaos. After my travel team ended due to high school ball taking over, I had a try out for Iowa Sticks. I played in the off season for Iowa Sticks, while continuing speed and agility training. I have had amazing opportunities to learn the game of baseball from some wonderful coaches who I owe my love of the game to. I appreciate and respect everyone who has helped me get to where I am today. Of course, I couldn't do all of it without the support and dedication of my parents and siblings. My parents have always been my biggest fans and believe in my dreams as much as I do. I appreciate all the weekends my younger siblings have spent at the ball field watching me play. I am a self-motivated person and a leader both on and off the field. I strive to always do my best and push myself. I'm a very coachable player and take feedback to always work at improving my skills. I have developed teamwork skills through decision making and problem solving in group situations. I am passionate about baseball, and I have set my goals high. Looking past baseball, I have aspirations to go into Sports Medicine. Education is very important to me so; I want to make sure I have an education to fall back on if baseball were to not work out. I believe in myself and my ability to be a great athlete and student for your college. I have dreams and goals and plan to make the most out of any opportunities I get. I have always been told how coachable I am and what a great leader I am, but I also think a strong quality I have is as a positive teammate. I always want to see my teammates succeed and be at their best too. Whether it's encouraging a teammate in a batting slump or just being on the fence cheering them on, I am definitely there for my teammates. Thank you for your time.
Respectfully,
Connor Soesbe
