Jacob Tobey '19 Recruiting Profile

From my freshman through junior year (so far) I have been a varsity starting left-handed pitcher.  My sophomore year our high school won the 4A Iowa State Tournament where we went 41-3 and I was fortunate enough to have helped our team succeed at such a tremendous level.  I'm currently a junior and through our school season I have pitched in many big games with half of my starts coming against top 10 teams in the state.  Our high school team has been ranked first in the states largest class for the past two seasons. I also pitched in the U.S.  championship game for the Junior League World Series in Taylor, Michigan where our team placed second in the nation and fourth in the country.  My goal is to pursue an education in civil engineering and play baseball at the college level. I can help contribute to a team's success through my energy, passion, skill, and most of all: my work ethic. I am always willing to put in more than is asked and love taking on a difficult job and doing it the best that I can. Ranked in the top 25 of 2019 Iowa recruits.
