I want to start my personal statement by sharing where I came from and whats formed me into the person I am today. I have a extremely small family, one being a brother and another being a sister. We lived in a medium sized house in Norwalk, Iowa. I lived there until about 1st grade and moved in with my Aunt and Uncle. Moving into a new home was a huge change for me, at the time being I didn't know what is was like to have a Father in the house and 3 older cousin doing great things in life. I would definitely say moving into my new home was a huge blessing and I thank my mom for allowing that to happen. My mother has always wanted the best for her children she could never give her love in money but she could give it in sacrifice by showing me that you have to sacrifice something to get something better in return. She sacrificed being a mother to put me into a better home. After moving in I got showed what hardwork is, my Dad was always on the road and working to pay the bills for us boys could have what we needed and wanted. Since my Dad traveled we also got to travel with him. I have gotten to see amazing things during the times we traveled.
Now let's talk about who I am and what I am interested in, I very interested in learning technology and how it works. I have always been the kid to take things apart to see what's inside and see how it works. In high school have taken Digital media classes as well as Microsoft office classes. I am also interested in Business and the stock market. I'm not really sure why I am so interesting it just is to me. Baseball is another important factor in my life. Ever since I can remember I was playing baseball. I have always wanted to go play in the major leagues, but as I got older I realized the process of getting there and what I will have to do to get there isn't going to be easy. I love baseball, and I hope to achieve great things from playing the amazing sport. Baseball to me isn't just a game it's a place where friends become brothers and teammates become family. Through my high school baseball career I have had a amazing coach that taught me to not only try to be the best player, but to also try to be the best person and to be a good role model for the younger players. What separate me from the other is my positive mindset and my leadership.
Now let's talk about weakness, I have figured out that one of my weakness is Math and understanding whatever I’m reading. The reason why I think I struggle with my reading is because most of the stuff that we read in school doesn't really interest me. Through my freshman and sophomore year it was the hardest time because I moved back in with my mother after my aunt and uncle got a divorce it was hard on me because it felt like my family was gone. This obstacle was the hardest for me to overcome it really put a toll my academics. The good thing is out of this was I became a stronger person and I'm more motivated than ever to work on my education and improve to my best ability.
I really want to go into the technology field because technology is the future and I feel being able to understand technology will be handy. Another reason is it's something that you can always being learning because it is always developing and new things are always being created.
I think I would be alot more successful than other people is because of my positive mindset on things. My hardwork and dedication on wanting success, I could defiantly say I want to be success just as much as I want to breathe.
