Brendan McGuire '15 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Brendan McGuire and I am a junior in high school at Urbandale, Iowa. I am a left handed pitcher and an outfielder and I wold love to continue to play baseball in the collegiate level. My goal for college is to put myself at an institution at the highest level that I can go to, where not only I can play baseball, but also work on earning a law degree. Growing up in a suburb of Des Moines, Iowa, I would prefer to attend college somewhere sort of close to home, however if the best opportunity for me to succeed is at a school outside of the middle United States, then that would be okay as well. Baseball is my first love and I would love to get involved with a program where I could fit in and do whatever I can to help be a leader on the field and help the program succeed. I am gearing up to enter my Junior season with the high school Varsity team, and I hope to pick up where I left off last season on the mound where I earned the number 1 position in our rotation and was trusted to pitch against the best teams in our division, and with high expectations this year with our team I am working hard to try and make our goals a reality.
