Ryan Knipfer '19 Recruiting Profile

Playing college baseball has been a lifelong goal of mine. Something that I have worked very hard for a very long time to achieve. I have always loved the game of baseball and I have a great passion to constantly get better and improve my game. Whether it be the mental side of things improving my knowledge of situations and the way things work, or the physical and technique side of things, weightlifting, throwing , and hitting in the cages.  One thing that has always helped me with baseball is the fact that I play football and wrestle in addition to baseball. This has helped me be a better athlete in many ways, teaching me that if I want to be successful I need to work hard and always give a hundred percent effort at all times. Along with this I have always worked hard outside of sports in the classroom and everyday things to make myself a better person. I have always been a high achieving student on top of athletics. I have maintained a high gpa while scoring high on tests and taking several honors and advanced courses. On top of all of this I love to be involved in my church youth group and Boy scouts. In October 2015 I earned my Eagle Scout through Boy Scouts, something I have worked my whole life for. I think that I would be a great candidate for any college program that wants an all around person. Someone who works hard on and off the field to become better at everything in life.
