Adam Rellihan '16 Recruiting Profile

At a young age, I knew that I was gifted athletically. My parents have always put me on the best teams, in the best environments, and with the best coaches. It's been a life-long dream of mine to pursue sports at the collegiate level. I'm a natural leader, a fast learner and I mesh well with many types of people.

As a baseball player, I am very versatile. In the infield, I have good hands, smooth mechanics, good range and I have a strong arm. I also have outfield experience. I turn and run well and have quick hips. As a pitcher, I am a consistent strike thrower. I can mix up speeds, hit spots, and use different pitches in the same locations to confuse the hitter. I am also good at keeping base runners honest.

I do play football as well. I am a quarterback. I make smart decisions and can keep the huddle composed. My footwork is key. Without good footwork you can't make accurate throws. I am not a 'scrambler', but I am definitely not afraid to run the ball and make key reads. I want the ball in my hands in critical situations and I work well under pressure.

I excel in the classroom as well. I am taking multiple AP/Honors classes and I would also like to attain an academic scholarship. I currently have a 4.4 GPA. Academics comes first and maintaining grades is my number one priority.

When I'm not at school or practice, you can find me at gym, working on my swing, or my footwork. I will do anything possible to give myself a better opportunity to succeed in whatever I do. Sports are my passion and I would be honored to play anywhere, at any school.
