JP Donelan '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a student at Highlands High School, in Fort Thomas, KY with a love for both baseball and academics, especially my learning in the Spanish language and culture. I am a hardworking student and athlete. I pride myself on being a positive presence in the dugout and on the field. My philosophy is that during any game, winning or losing, if the team and everyone involved in our effort isn't positive and having fun, there is no way we can try to compete with others. I make sure to keep our attitude positive and light, while keeping our heads in the game and on the task at hand. I also put emphasis on my physical ability as a player, working out multiple times a day at either strength & conditioning, skill work, or both. I also take pride in my academic achievements and efforts.  I plan on making academics a cornerstone of my college experience wherever I go.
