My name is Andrew Lyday and I am a junior at Hancock County High School. I have started varsity as catcher since the 8th grade. I was awarded Defensive MVP my 8th grade and sophomore year. In my first varsity start I caught a no-hitter. My Freshman season was lost to Covid. I have worked hard over the summer and in the off season to get stronger and improve my game. I also play football at Hancock County.
I would love to play baseball at the college level while working on my college degree. I am undecided on my field of study at the time. I have maintained a 3.8 GPA and work hard in the classroom as well as on the field.
