I started playing baseball when I was 4 years old, and although I enjoy playing other sports, baseball is definitely my passion. I am primarily a RHP with my secondary position as corner infielder. As a pitcher I have good mound presence and can start, relieve, or close out a game depending on what my team needs me to do. I’m a good teammate and bring positivity to the field. Also, I have a strong work ethic and work well with many coaching personalities.
Over the years, I have had my share of baseball disappointments. These disappointments motivated me to work harder and persevere to achieve my goals. Sometimes what seemed like a missed opportunity turned out to be a blessing in disguise, ending up with more playing time and opportunities to develop at alternate positions.
Off the baseball field I work equally hard to achieve academic success, maintaining a 4.0 unweighted/4.75 weighted GPA. My family and faith in God are also very important to me. I am involved in my church youth group. I try to be the best big brother I can be to my 5 year old sister, Sadie.
