Trevor Watkins '24 Recruiting Profile

I  see my years at college to be a time of academic and physical growth,  during which I plan on studying Business or Sports Management. I will  work to be the best fit for the team, while accepting my role. During my  time at the University, I will strive to be a man of faith and  character and have a positive impact on and off the field. Growing up I  was always the smallest kid on every team, but I learned not to let that  affect my style of play and the effort I gave. My size led to many  people not giving me a shot and not taking a chance on me. I overcame  this as I found a coach who wanted me on his team for how I played, with  passion and effort.  He did not care about my size at that time, as he  knew I would eventually grow. While I am still not the biggest kid on my  teams, I am also no longer the smallest. However, the work effort,  passion, and fundamentals that carried me through, still persist.
