I fell in love with game of baseball when I played on my first t-ball team at age four. Ever since then, I have not missed one season! Baseball has taught me so much about myself. What I've learned is that batting is a constant work in progress. I've learned to correct my mistakes by making appropriate adjustments, which is a valuable tool in real life situations. I must first be willing to identify my errors, then, do what needs to be done to correct them.
Although baseball is a team sport, there is still a large individual component. I've learned that I have to be responsible and committed to being my very best, as well as be supportive of my teammates and their performance. I absolutely love this game, and I know that I will work hard and make a positive impact on any team that is willing to take a chance on me.
