Jacob Potier '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob Potier.  I am an incoming freshman at Pratt Community College in Pratt, KS. I am a 2012 graduate of Acadiana High School.  I am 6'4", 185lbs left-handed pitcher.  I also play outfield and some first base.  I have participated in cross country as well.  But I decided to give that up to focus all attention on baseball.  To continue to improve my skills, I have worked with a pitching coach for about 2 years, and recently began working with a strength and conditioning coach.  I am pitching on average an 85mph fastball and my 60 time was clocked at 6.84.  I have played on travel teams since the age of 9.  One of the best memories of baseball, includes playing at Cooperstown and winning the National tournament at Baseball World in New York.  More recently,  during my sophmore year, my team won the State Championship title. 
It is my dream to play baseball at the next level.  I am open to playing at any school.  I consider myself to be a hard worker, self-driven, true lover of the game, and enjoys competion.  I believe I can be an asset to any team, given the opportunity. My desired major in college is kinesiology and also physical therapy.
