Paul Howard '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Paul Howard, III, I am a senior at Walker High School in Walker, Louisiana. Growing up in a small town has provided opportunities for me to have close relationships with friends and their families. I have always had the support of not only my family but also my friends’ families. I was always being mentored or guided in different life and sports situations; these relationships have made me who I am today. I am thankful to have such great men and women in my life who have taught me the importance of putting in the work to accomplish my goals, looking at all points of views to learn from others and how to be a team player.

I have been playing sports since I was 5 years old, I played football through 8^th grade, basketball through 9^th grade and have continued playing baseball since T-Ball. I honestly do not remember when I became interested in sports, it just has always been a part of my life and always will be. I have always been active and worked hard to accomplish not only my goals but my teams’ goals. One thing I was taught from my pee-wee football coach was your size does not matter, it is what is in your heart. I took that to heart and learned from it, it allowed me to play and excel in positions even though I was considered one of the smaller kids.

My goal is to be successful not only on the field but also in the classroom. I look forward to continuing my education in college and growing during high school to be able to have the opportunity to play at the collegiate level.
