2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I love baseball and being a part of a team. I want to play college baseball because I want to keep playing as long as I can. My goal is to take my game to the highest level I can. My favorite part of baseball is working hard together with my teammates to get better and have fun. I was a competitive ski racer at the highest level for my age, and I have realized that I love baseball because I like being a teammate better than an individual.
I encourage and cheer on my teammates even when I am not playing in the game. I do whatever it takes to help my team win and I try to always listen to my coaches. I'll bunt, take a pitch, whatever I am asked to do.
I didn't focus on baseball over skiing until this year. I know I have to work hard to catch up! But I'm ready to do it!
