Nolan Spring '23 Recruiting Profile

For as long as I can remember, I have been playing baseball. Since I was four years old this game has been teaching me lessons that I couldn't learn anywhere else. How to lead by example, to learn from failure and how to be an effective part of a team. Growing up in a family obsessed with sports, I grew up playing both baseball and soccer from a young age and sports have helped me endure hardships all my life.

I am a right handed pitcher and first baseman at Southern High School, the smallest school in my county. Playing for a small school has taught me not only to play to win, put to play for respect. It motivates me to work my hardest and to help my teammates so that bigger schools don't see us as an easy win. I feel it is important to push my peers and myself to get better every day.

Off of the field, I maintain a 3.8 GPA and have been in honors classes all three years of high school. I am a member of the National Honors Society and the Student Athletic Leadership Program at my school. 

This past summer I have attended tournaments and showcases with my travel team, as well as worked on my strength and skill with my coaches. I look forward to the upcoming fall season and am very excited to attend camps and prospect showcases.
