Dear Coaches
My name is Nick Giangregorio. Playing college baseball has been a lifelong goal that I am working hard to achieve. As a high school freshman, I was the JV catcher and team MVP. I was called up to the Varsity team to catch for the last three games of the season and playoffs. This helped me grow as a player because I got the chance to play against older athletes and better competition. Because of COVID, there was no high school season in 2020 but I was able to play for my club team (Route 2 Blue Sox) during the summer. Right now I am lifting weights and doing hitting and catching drills with my Route 2 team to get ready for the 2021 Spring and Summer season. I go to Belmont High School in Massachusetts. We play in the MIAA, Middlesex League.
As a student, I am constantly working hard to have good grades and improve each year. I am hoping to study business in college. I am taking my first Economics class this year, and it is very interesting to me. I am looking for a college that will be a good fit for me both for academics as well as for baseball. I believe I have the talent to play at the next level because of my work ethic, ability to be coached, and being a good teammate.
