Until recently being named to the 2016 Massachusetts Charter School Athletic Organization (MCSAO) All-league Team as an 8th Grader had been the Highlight of my School Career. It was certainly a great honor and surprise since I was only in the 8th grade playing for a High School Varsity Team. Since enrolling at Bishop Fenwick High School as a freshman in 2016 a lot has happened. This was my Junior year of High School and it has been great! This past Fall Our Football Team went 9-2 and won the Catholic Central Large conference. Our Bishop Fenwick High School Baseball Team won the 2019 Division 3 North Final which put us in the Mass State Semi Final Game. This was a tremendous achievement and a goal our team set at the beginning of the season. It was awesome to celebrate that win with my teammates. Personally I had a strong season with a record of 5-0 with a 1.94 (Overall) ERA and was named to the Catholic Central All Star Team. I have recently been named Captain of our High School Football Team. This maybe the most important highlight for me because I was voted in by my teammates and coaches, it was a great honor for me.
I grew up in an athletic family becoming interested in sports at a very young age. My parents bought me a Tiny Tikes Basketball hoop and a whiffle ball set when I was two...since then I have been playing some sport, competing and having fun. As I got into organized leagues I learned to listen to my coach’s, to be accountable to my team and teammates. I have learned that I am coachable and always learning. I am playing three sports (Football, Hockey and Baseball) I have learned something from each sport that I apply to the others.....Compete and lead (Football QB), to appreciate my teammates (Baseball Pitcher) and have a short memory (Hockey Goalie.) My academic goals are simple ......To improve! I have a learning disability, which is a small obstacle but with the help of my amazing teachers in the Learning Center I was able to bring my grades up toward the end of last year. With that same help at the start of this year I feel I can get my grades where they need to be as I start to look toward College. I have been fortunate to be involved with strong programs, teachers and mentors, leading to opportunities for me to advance and improve as a student athlete. I am grateful to all of the coaches that have helped in my development as an athlete as well as a confident individual. I aspire to play Baseball at the College level, I will make the best of any opportunity I am given and will make an immediate impact for the college that gives me that opportunity.
UPDATE SINCE ORIGINAL STATEMENT: Was named Captain for the 2020 High School Baseball team. Named 2019 CCL All Star Saftey in Football.
