Jason Lane '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jason Lane and I am currently a sophomore at Almont High School in Almont, Michigan.  Upon graduating from high school (2025)  I am anxiously anticipating playing college baseball while attending a reputable university.  Although I am undecided at the moment on my college major -I am leaning towards Business Management.  

Baseball has always been my passion.  I began playing on a team when I was 5 years old and can honestly say that it has pleasantly consumed my days and nights, thoughts and dreams,  summers and winters as well as a majority of my family vacations.  I am currently beginning my 7th year of travel baseball now and am playing for the Motor City Hit Dogs 16u. Although I am very skilled in any position on the field, I am strongest as a right handed pitcher.  This past year has been very prosperous.  My biggest accomplishments include throwing a no hitter game as well as throwing (3) 15 strikeout games and being nominated a team captain on my travel ball team.  

I feel that I would be a very valuable asset to any college team.  I am a natural leader and a very coachable team player.  I am hardworking both on the field and off.  I am a good student in the classroom as well as a dependable and respectable teammate.
