Josh Lyons '18 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Joshua Raymond Lyons, 17yrs old and in the 11th grade at Delton Kellogg High School and will graduate in 2018. I'm 180lbs at 6'1.  I would describe myself as a leader on and off the sports field.  My GPA  is 3.8 and awarded Highest Honors, and was on the honor roll every year. I am a quick learner, respectful, hardworking, honest and a loyal teammate! I have a drive in me that I feel every time that I enter on a sports field that I will give 110% of my being and leave that field knowing that I have gave it my whole heart and soul out there! I am a three sport athlete, I have been on the varsity baseball team as a starting shortstop my freshman and sophomore year and looking forward to my junior year. I have been first team all conference both years as well as all district both years. My sophmore year I was named to the all region team. My major as of this moment is undecided, but I do know that I want to do something with athletics. Whether it is playing ball, or sports casting, or working as a personal trainer on athletes or become a coach like my dad. My goal right now is to win a district and a conference title for Delton Kellogg High school baseball team while I am on it!
