Ben Gehan '12 Recruiting Profile

Hello, first off I would like to introduce myself, I am Ben Gehan, I got to Clarenceville highschool, in Livonia Michigan, were i am entering my 4th year playing varsity baseball for the Trojans. I am a senior and am looking forward to playing college baseball, its been my greatest dream as long as i can remember. I'm looking to play at a school that has good academics where i can get a quality education in business, which is what I would like to Major in to prepare myself for the real world. I'm also looking to play at a school with coaches and players who have a love and dedication for the game that i can share mine with. I beleive that i have some qualities that can help the team be succesful, for example, i have been given the Leadership award for my team because my coach said i show great dedication and set an example for my teammates on and off the field, which is a role that i cherish. Also I was all conference my sophmore year, and was All-Area my junior year along with being on the All Observer. Last year I was given the Offensive MVP award for my team where i had a .448 batting average along with a .638 slugging percentage. Lastly i have led my team in RBI's while batting clean-up for the past 2 years. I pride myself on putting my team first, and doing whatever my coaches ask me to do to help them win. Theres no greater feeling than being a part of something larger than yourself. I consider myself to be a pretty well rounded ball player, and i believe I can help your team in some capacity, i'm looking forward to talking with you, thank you.
