My name is Davontay Lewis I am a junior at Beecher High School. I've been a starter for my school varsity baseball team for two years now. My goal is to compete at the collegiate level and to continue to play after college professionally. I am academically driven with a passion for competing; I pride myself with determination and my sportsmanship. I'm an energetic and confident team player who has a passion for baseball.

I am a teachable and coach able student athlete. My sophomore year I was honored with Honorable Mention All Conference and the Coach Award and the Varsity Award.

I have great leadership skills. I am a very disciplined student athlete on and off the field I maintain a 3.5 GPA and I am proud member of the Y.A.C (Youth Advisory Council) and other academic clubs and organizations. I'm always open to advice and constructive criticism. I set high goals for myself and I hold myself accountable for reaching those goals. I push myself as high as I can go so that I am constantly improving. My positive outlook and my strong work ethic - both academically and athletically- will make me a great addition to any collegiate baseball team.
