October 2020Personal Statement
My ultimate goal for baseball is to take it as far as I can, whether that means playing at college or being fortunate enough to take baseball even farther. I believe that what separates me from others is my desire to always improve day by day, along with understanding that the weight room is one of the most crucial places to be in sports. I want to be a good teammate and support the team goal of winning -- at the plate, on the mound or even on my off-days.
Academically I'm very focused on doing my absolute best. I'm very proud of having a 4.00 GPA while taking honors classes and training for baseball. In the past I've received student of the month awards and the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence.
Outside of school and sports I also participate in community service. I've been a part of Feed My Starving Children, Compassion International, Church Soup Kitchen and most recently Meals on Wheels.
