2019 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My goal is to compete and play college baseball at a high level while earning my degree in Physical Therapy or Animal Sciences. I plan to be successful and make a positive impact on my community, and I am looking for a college and a baseball program that will help me to achieve my goals.
My father, Sean, was a swimmer at Wisconsin-Stout. My Grandfather, Emmett, played football at St. Norbert College. My Great-Grandfather, George, played semi-pro football for the Chicago Edison Cardinals. My Great-Uncle, Tim Moynihan, was an All-American and a two-time National Champion at Notre Dame and he was also a First Team NFL All Pro. My cousin, Kim Seger, ran both cross country and track for the University of Illinois. Another cousin, Tom Kurvers, played hockey at MN-Duluth where he was an All-American and won the Hobey Baker Award and he also won a Stanley Cup during his eleven seasons in the NHL.

You were nominated and selected as one of the top seniors in the state of Minnesota and will play in the prestigious 46th annual Play Ball Minnesota High School Baseball All Star Series. Many players from this series have gone on to play high level college and professional baseball. Included in our alumni are Joe Mauer, Glen Perkins, Max Meyer, Logan Shore and so many more!

- Brennan is a lean, muscular SS / 2B who will graduate in 2021. Foot speed is solid as indicated by his 60 time. At SS he displays clean, smooth actions. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. At the plate he shows a tall, athletic setup; hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. At the plate: athletic setup, square stride, gets separation, rhythm into launch, works inside the baseball, quick hands, gets lower half all the way through, makes consistent contact, shows the ability to spray to all fields. In the field: pre-pitch prep / readiness, quick first step, creates an angle, works around the baseball, flashes range to both sides, sure hands, clean backhand footwork, clean exchange, arm plays well from position. Other measurables above 16U national metrics: 1.75 sec 10yd dash, 4.90 sec 5-10-5 Shuttle Run, 7'2" Lateral Jump, 110 psi Grip Strength.

- At the plate: nice bat path, compact swing, good hands, gets around baseball, gets good back spin on ball, good in-game at-bats with hustle. In the field: centers ball well, quick lateral movement, blocks ball well laterally at catcher, accurate throws.

- During my high school career, I have started at all defensive positions except C & 1B - including both as a starting pitcher and a closer. I also was a catcher for three years and played first base for one year in club & travel baseball.
