I plan to attend a 4-year college/university, and right now I'm thinking I would like to pursue a degree in Wildlife Biology or Environmental Science. Academically, I have a 3.41 GPA entering the my senior year in high school. Although I've always been active in both basketball and baseball, in my junior year I decided that I would like to play baseball in college. I have become very good pitcher and 1st baseman. Right now I am 6'5" tall and 200lbs. I throw and bat left handed. I earned a varsity letter on my high school baseball team as both a freshman and sophomore. In 2022 (sophomore), I was a starting pitcher on our varsity team. In 2023 (junior), I earned North Diamond Conference Honorable Mention recognition and was awarded Pitcher of the Year for our varsity team. I have definitely improved as a LHP over the last two years. I've always had good control, but I have added speed to my fastball and have developed other quality pitches (2-seam, change-up, knuckle curve). Unfortunately, the baseball program at my school has had a new head coach each of the past 3 seasons and as is often the case where I live in far northwest MN, the long and harsh 2022-23 winter really limited the length of our season and ability for quality outdoor practice/training prior to the season. Despite all that, I REALLY love the game of baseball! Last summer I was an assistant coach for my town's summer youth baseball teams. I think if you asked my coaches or teammates, they'd call me a great team player and someone they enjoy playing with and being around. This summer I am playing for the Middle River Renegades Sr. Legion baseball team. I also attended an invite-only "PBR MN Top Prospect Games Showcase" in Minnetonka this June and I will be attending an invite-only "Best In The North - Top 100 National Showcase" in August in Minneapolis.
