My collegiate goal is to get a degree. At this time, Sports medicine is what I want to study. Having something to fall back on, if my baseball career does not extend past college, is very important. I hope to also be a starting outfielder or infielder on a collegiate team.
I am a good candidate for a team because I will always work hard to be better at my position than I was yesterday. I always give 110% no matter what. For instance, I played on my schools JV baseball team in 8th grade and barely ever got to see the field, before our season was cut short. I was the bullpen mule and never complained once. I always suited up and did my job.
I am a hard worker who also loves to have fun. I am a positive team player and will encourage my teammates. I am someone that my teammates can trust to bring their "A-game" every time. I may not be the fastest on the team but I make up for it by putting the ball where it needs to go. Outfield and infield are my stronger positions but I can play any position needed. I haven't put much time into playing first base or pitcher. However, I feel I know more about the game of baseball than most players my age and with the right coaching I could play any position needed.
During the pandemic and doing school work from home I have maintained my 3.3 GPA. I plan to take advanced placement courses in high school to prepare myself for college success.
