I have always been a person that thrives on competition. My parents say that everything in my life has always been a contest and this has carried over into my work ethic for baseball and life. I come from a family that has raised me with strong Christian values. I enjoy baseball, fishing, hunting, working out, and working with my Grandfather on his farm.
I am someone that is committed to constant improvement. This summer just before summer ball was supposed to start I was practicing with a friend. He hit a line drive that caught me in the face and shattered my cheekbone. The doctors restricted me from playing baseball until I was healed enough to return to my team. I had to fight back with hard work in the gym and on the practice field to get back to playing and doing what I love.
It is my desire to continue my improvement through hard work and to always get better. I want to find a program where I can be a part of a supportive team and contribute to the success of that team.
