Baseball has been a priority in my life since I was a small child. The hours of practice are reflected by my drive to eventually play at a collegiate level. I am hard working and self-aware. I have the ability to make adjustments not only in my skills on the field, but also when confronted with everyday challenges. Challenges that require me to change something about myself in order to achieve my goals. The skills I have acquired as a baseball player over the last 15 years will prove to be useful to most any collegiate team. I believe my most valuable asset is my ability to be coachable. This learning style has helped me especially in the last two years to define me as a flexible athlete. I believe the ability for athletes to be flexible is one of the most important values to learn. A baseball player must have the skills to play at the collegiate level, but he must also possess a strong moral focus. I believe I have that focus as well as the skills to play at the next level. Baseball is a game of adjustments and the players ability to be flexible in uncomfortable situations is a key to his success.
